BDP are renowned worldwide as high calibre
designers across all disciplines, notably
architecture and interior design. As a result, any
project for its own occupancy carries enormous
expectations in terms of quality and final
product; inevitably the scheme will attract highly
critical attention.
Having worked with BDP for more than 16 years,
Styles&Wood’s challenge was to accept the
instruction in the full confidence that we would
not only deliver an excellent final project, but
that on the journey our behaviours and actions
would reinforce our relationship with a highly
valued consultant partner.
Inheriting a high quality developer shell,
we were consulted as to best methods of
procurement, practical construction issues,
commerciality and other elements relating to
such a sensitive scheme, including expectation
management.
The clean, minimalist theme of the interior
placed additional expectations on the quality of
finishes and detailing.
